Girl gives birth to baby in house toilet after relations with brother

Debates on whether sexual education should be included in schools has long been ongoing, but unfortunately without any concrete decision.

Children these days are far more exposed than in the past and sadly, this exposure comes with both positive and negative elements.

The need to know and to experiment sometimes get the better of children and this can often lead to disaster.

In the most recent case in Kampar, a 15-year-old girl ended up giving birth to a baby girl in the toilet of her home in Taman Diawan.

Apparently, she had been having sexual relations with her 13-year-old brother since May this year and she did not know she was pregnant.

None of her family members also knew of her situation until she delivered.

Last Saturday, she complained of severe stomach pain and went into the toilet and the next thing she knew, she gave birth.

Shocked and frightened, she screamed for her mother, who then rushed her and the baby to the Kampar Hospital.

From there, she was transferred to the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in Ipoh.

Also, the baby sustained head injuries after landing in the toilet bowl.

Cops have since nabbed the Form One student and the case is being investigated under Section 376B of the Penal Code for incest.

This case is I am sure, one among many others to occur due to the lack of sexual guidance and education among our youth.

While some parents may view sexual education as something improper, it is surely something which is very much needed and should be implemented soon.
