Wake up PH or say goodbye in the next GE
By John Isaac
As a voter in the last general election, I opted for change and voted for Pakatan Harapan.
However, today, I must sadly say that I am looking back at the decision and wondering if I made the right choice.
It is not to say that I should have voted for the Barisan Nasional, but I think I should not have voted at all.
Today, it seems like PH is shaping up be nothing more than a BN 2.0.
Just look at the huge cracks surfacing in PKR - right from the rundown to the party polls, till today, their problems seem to be never ending.
The factions between Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim are so glaring that almost everyone in Malaysia is aware of it.
And to make things worse, their own members keep on making public disparaging and damaging statements.
They certainly do not believe in using available party channels to voice their problems, but to instead use the media and make it public.
This sort of attitude is slowly but surely killing the party and it is already evident from some blogs that voters are reconsidering their decision in the next GE.
I am pretty sure there is going to be a huge number of spoil votes or absentees in the next GE - it will be a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea - so why bother voting.
What is needed right now is perhaps an emerging third force made up of professionals who have only one thing in mind - enhancing the economy.
There is no longer room for those who have their personal interests at heart and simply abuse and misuse the party at the expense of the rakyat.
Now, PH seems to have forgotten that the rakyat are the ones who put them there in the first place and pretend like we do not exist anymore.
They are too embroiled in their personal fights that they have forgotten the plight of the people.
Wake up now PH or consider yourself just a one-term government.
