Wearing slippers into the KLIA VIP lounge such a serious matter?
To most Malaysians, the economy and a better quality of life are the things that matter most and that is mainly the reason why we voted the BN government out in the first place.
However, recently, I was a little disheartened when I read about our Transport Minister, Anthony Loke calling for an urgent press conference over what later turned out to be a rather trivial matter.
Perhaps, there is some personal vendetta or something, but calling the media over the issue of someone wearing slippers in the KLIA VIP lounge is in my opinion, unwarranted.
I would think there are more urgent matters for the minister to attend to, like illegal licences, lorries and foreigners on our roads.
Following the press conference, I continued to read reports of Tan Sri SA Vigneswaran and Loke threatening to sue each other.
I don't know. I may be wrong. But to a lay person like me, this seems to be a waste of time and resources.
For me personally, I would rather my elected representatives focus on something more meaningful and worthwhile for us.
Unless there had been a serious breach of security at the KLIA and a real threat to the nation, then I don't see the need for so much fuss over the matter.
Perhaps the guidelines on the dos and don'ts at the VIP lounge should be made clearer?
