Why bring race & religion into everything?

If it is one thing I am not proud of being a Malaysian is why certain individuals or groups need to bring race and religion into everything.

Two glaring examples would be the recent unfortunate deaths of our fireman during the Seafield temple chaos and the death of a college student whose vehicle plunged off the Penang Bridge.

Both are unfortunate deaths and we pray for their families and loved ones.

As Malaysians, we as a nation are equally saddened over their deaths and hope those responsible will receive what is due to them.

However, and rather unfortunately, there are those who immediately bring race and religion into the matter and complicate things.

I do not see the point here - so the fireman was a Muslim and the student was a Chinese. End of the day, they were both Malaysians and that is what should matter.

Why must people resort to name calling like "Cina babi" and "India keling" and the likes.

What do they get out of this? If you are not happy living in a peaceful, harmonious nation, then maybe it's time for you to look for another home.

This is unnecessary incitement and those responsible should be put behind bars.

In this time and age, there is certainly no more room for people like this - it's best you crawl back under the rock you came from in the first place.

We are a progressing and developing nation and most Malaysians are too busy chasing the pot of gold at the foot of the rainbow than to be occupied with dumb, racial slurs.

It is time the MCMC come down hard on these certain individuals who have the time to sit at their keyboards daily and dish out nonsense.

Please do not be taken by such nonsense. The colour of our blood is the same and we all live under the same sky.

As a nation we remain strong, as individuals, we can fall.
