Good news guys!

The Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) 2019 payment will be paid out to single individuals by March end.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said RM100 will be given to each of them who qualified for the aid.

Lim said the aid would benefit more than three million individuals and involved an allocation of RM300 million.

While the government aims to help and reduce people's burden, many netizens feel its just not enough. But then, will any amount ever be enough?

Previously, the BN government had allocated RM450 for single people and RM100 for school students.

It is now RM100 for all.

Single people are struggling with high living cost and some even have dependents, education loans and they also earned low salaries.

With the high cost of living, RM100 will just disappear within a short period of time.

Netizens also believe that the government decided to give the aid just because the Semenyih by-election is going on.

The Semenyih by-election takes place on Mar 2 and the government announces the aid about two weeks before that. Coincidence, maybe?

Despite the criticisms, many are still happy with the aid. After all, it is still money right?

We cannot deny the fact that RM100 feels like RM10 these day. But we also need to appreciate the government's effort to help.

What do you guys think?
