Guess getting the attention of your students is no easy task and as a lecturer, you probably have to resort to all kinds of tactics.
Well, a lecturer from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Perak went the extra mile for his students by taking on the character, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
Kamarul Ariffin Ahmad teaches English at UPSI and has been at it for the last five years.
He said the reason why he took on such a task was to help his students learn in a much more interesting environment and also to bring the stories to live.
When he comes in as a character, he said the students felt less anxious and were eager to participate.
He has also assumed other roles in the past.
The 34-year-old is a graduate from Universiti Malaya and feels his technique has reaped favourable results.
"I am happy that my students are progressing well, even if it means I have to do this," he added.
