PH, would you have won the GE without Tun M?
By YC Reader
I think one thing certain Pakatan Harapan leaders are forgetting is the fact that PH managed to successfully defeat Barisan Nasional in the 14th General Election only because of the presence of certain leaders in the fold.
These leaders are non other than Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz and Tun Daim Zainuddin.
If not for Tun Mahathir playing the lead role, many doubt PH could have defeated BN at all.
Yes, there are other good leaders in PH, but none as impactful as the four mentioned above.
All of a sudden, it seems like certain PH leaders have forgotten the pivotal role Tun M played in ensuring their electoral victory.
If you knew Tun M was a dictator and sorts, then why did you invite him to join you all and lead PH in the first place?
Please do not be so quick to forget the sacrifices Tun M has made. After all, he never wanted to make a comeback, but was forced to.
Acknowledge the fact that you would not have won had it not been for the presence of Tun M and other former BN leaders. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim alone could not have pulled it off.
As what Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said, it is certainly time to stop being crybabies!
The first and biggest mistake PH did to erode public confidence soon after coming into power was to wash their dirty linen in public.
Fine, you can say BN is nothing but a corrupted bunch of politicians, but for years, they have shown a united front and seldom went for each other's throats in public.
But, sadly, the same cannot be said about PH. From day one, they have been snapping at each other openly, much to the dismay of those who believed and trusted in them.
One must also not forget that in GE14, the voters were mainly against certain individuals in Umno and not the entire BN coalition.
What makes you think that voters will not make a swing to BN again, especially since Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his wife are out of the picture?
Do not underestimate the wisdom of Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan. For those who know him, they are familiar with how intelligent and wise this man is and the kind of damage he can inflict on PH.
The most disheartening thing here is that by the time the next general election comes, BN may not have much of a PH to destroy after all - the rate PH leaders themselves are damaging their own party.
What is actually wrong here? Are you PH leaders so hungry for power that you simply cannot wait your time?
Stop being so greedy and stop this nonsense, otherwise, you are only going to do down in history as a one-term party.
